Forging & Machining Capabilities
Near-Net Shapes, Finished In-House.

Aviaforge forges aluminum alloys and carbon steel in a 10,000 m² facility with 7 servo-electric screw press forging lines, then machines, heat-treats and finishes the parts in-house — from a single prototype to production runs of 50,000 pieces.

Forging Processes

Hot forging

Metal is formed above its recrystallization temperature, refining the grain structure for strength and toughness in load-bearing parts.

Cold forging

Forming at or near room temperature for good dimensional accuracy and surface finish on smaller parts.

Precision die forging

Near-net-shape forming that reduces machining allowance; Aviaforge’s near-net forming raises material utilization by 30%.

Isothermal forging

Die and workpiece are held at the same temperature, improving grain uniformity by 30% — suited to high-strength aluminum alloys.

Capabilities FAQ

What forging processes does Aviaforge offer?

Hot forging, cold forging, precision (near-net-shape) die forging and isothermal forging, on 7 servo-electric screw press forging lines with presses up to 1,600 tons.

Which metals can Aviaforge forge?

Aluminum alloys and carbon steel. Common aluminum grades are 6061, 6082, 6063, 7075, 5083 and 2024, supplied to ASTM, DIN EN and GB standards.

Can Aviaforge machine forged parts in-house?

Yes. Forgings can be finished with CNC turning, milling and grinding, heat treatment and surface treatment, so parts are delivered ready to assemble.

What batch sizes does Aviaforge produce?

Flexible MOQ: small-batch prototyping and mass production. Production lines are sized for orders of 2,000 to 50,000 pieces, and the first prototype piece is typically delivered within 30 days.
