Forged Hose Safety Clamps

A safety clamp is a bolted clamp that holds a hose firmly onto the shank of a coupling, so the hose cannot blow off under pressure. Aviaforge makes safety clamps to EN 14420-3 / DIN 2817 for hoses from DN 15 to DN 200.

Four versions are available: an aluminum clamp forged from EN AW-6082 with grade 10.9 bolts (DIN 912 / EN ISO 4762); a hinged aluminum clamp closed with a stainless steel pin; a brass clamp in CW614N; and a stainless steel clamp in 1.4408 (CF8M, 316 type) for corrosive media. Each product page lists the hose dimensions and bolt sizes per nominal size.

Forged clamp halves are dense and strong, so they keep their shape when the bolts are tightened onto the hose. Parts are made under an ISO 9001:2015 quality system and can be checked by hardness testing and fluorescent penetrant testing.
