Forged Hose Couplings

Hose couplings are the interfaces that join hoses to each other and to hydrants, pumps, nozzles and tanks. Aviaforge forges them for fire fighting, irrigation, petroleum and chemical service, and for transferring liquids, solids and gases on tank trucks and rail tank cars.

Storz couplings are symmetrical and connect by a quarter turn, without male and female halves. Aviaforge makes them in EN AW-6082 aluminum with NBR profiled seals, in sizes Storz 25 (D) to Storz 150: with a hose shank (DIN 14301 to DIN 14303, DIN 14321 to DIN 14323), with a BSP thread to DIN ISO 228 (DIN 14306 to DIN 14309) and as blank caps (DIN 14310 to DIN 14313). Fire-fighting couplings are forged from EN AW-6082 with a serrated hose tail and an anodized finish.

For tank trucks, TW couplings to EN 14420-6 (types MK and VK) come with MB dust caps and VB dust plugs in brass or aluminum, in DN 50, 80 and 100 (2″, 3″ and 4″) with ISO 228-1 threads. Threaded hose couplings to EN 14420-5 / DIN 2817 are made in brass and in stainless steel 316 from DN 15 to DN 100, with smooth or serrated shanks.
