Firefighting Couplings: FAQ
Which material is used for the Aviaforge firefighting couplings?
It is made from EN-AW6082 aluminum. Equivalent grades: ASTM 6061 (ASTM B209), EN AW-6082 (DIN EN 573-3) and GB 6061 (GB/T 3190-2020). Other alloys can be quoted on request.
Can Aviaforge customize the firefighting couplings to my drawing?
Yes. We build parts to your drawings, specifications or samples (OEM) and can co-develop designs with our R&D team (ODM), including DFM analysis and 3D forging simulation.
What is the minimum order quantity and lead time?
MOQ is flexible: we support small-batch prototyping as well as mass production, with production lines sized for orders of 2,000 to 50,000 pieces. The first prototype piece is typically delivered within 30 days, and production orders typically ship in 5–7 weeks.
How is quality checked?
Aviaforge is ISO 9001:2015 certified. Parts can be inspected by fluorescent penetrant testing, X-ray testing, hardness testing, grain size detection and metallographic analysis.
